Steven’s journey began at the age of 3, riding trails with his dad and friends. By 15, his passion for bikes led him to start his motorcycle apprenticeship at a local Yamaha shop, where he also began competing in off-road events. At 18, he raced the legendary Finke Desert Race and experienced firsthand how properly tuned suspension can transform not just a race, but the entire riding experience.

In his early 20s, Steven co-founded AJ’s Motorcycles, quickly becoming one of the leading dealerships for KTM, Triumph, Suzuki, Seadoo, and Can-Am. It was during this time that his focus shifted to suspension tuning. His personal racing career progressed as well, reaching A-grade motocross within just a few years.

Steven’s passion for performance didn’t stop at his own riding. From 2012 to 2014, he ran his own national race team for KTM Australia, working with top riders like Kale Makeham and Jack Simpson. His expertise has been instrumental in helping numerous national and international riders achieve championships.

Aiden has been immersed in the world of motorcycles since the age of four, when he first learned to ride on a PW50. His passion for riding has only grown over the years, evolving into a lifelong commitment to the industry. He began working with Steven and the team at AJ's motorcycles at 17, and has since gained extensive industry knowledge and employment with Shepp Moto from 2021-2023.

 

Aiden's commitment to quality workmanship and rider-focused service has earned him the trust of riders across the region. Together, Steve and Aiden form the backbone of a team that’s passionate about delivering top-tier results for every bike that comes through the door
